West Virginia Polymer Alliance Zone (PAZ) President Keith Burdette announced Cam Huffman has joined the organization under contract as Director of External Relations.
Huffman is well known to many across the region for his longstanding work in government affairs and economic development. He previously served in the administration of former Governor Bob Wise, gaining firsthand experience in state government operations and policy development.
Huffman also spent nearly 12 years with the Wood County Economic Development Authority , including almost six years as Executive Director. During his tenure, he worked to advance business recruitment, expansion efforts, and regional development initiatives in Wood County and the surrounding area.
In addition to his public-sector experience, Huffman has represented numerous organizations before the West Virginia Legislature and other branches of state government. His clients have included large Fortune 500 companies, small manufacturers, non-profits, and colleges navigating legislative and regulatory environments.
Huffman currently serves as President and CEO of The Burdette Group, a West Virginia–based government relations and strategic advisory firm. In his role with PAZ, he will focus on strengthening relationships with industry leaders, local officials, state policymakers, and strategic partners to advance the organization’s mission.
