The Polymer Alliance Zone (PAZ) shared a progress update Wednesday, highlighting regional growth, new business activity and upcoming developments. PAZ President Keith Burdette said the organization has expanded from three counties to 10 over the past 30 years and expects to grow to 12 counties by year’s end with the addition of Brooke and Hancock counties. Burdette said PAZ remains focused on industrial recruitment — including light manufacturing, industrial distribution and polymer-related businesses — and takes a proactive approach to attracting investment. “We believe we can’t wait for somebody to find us,” Burdette said. “We have to go find them.”
