Dear WV Exporters,

We are pleased to continue the exciting recognition program for successful exporters, the Governor's Commendation for International Market Entry. 

If your company has realized an export sale, large or small, to a new country during calendar year 2007, please complete the attached application.  The export sale can be the result of your individual marketing efforts or from a West Virginia sponsored trade event, but must be your first sale to a new market. Within the next few weeks, companies selected for this award will be recognized during a brief ceremony with Governor Joe Manchin, and will receive a plaque commemorating their success. 

Your efforts to develop international trade opportunities are important to West Virginia, and serves as an inspiration for other companies to consider exporting as well.  Please consider taking part in this event, and we look forward to celebrating future successes with you.
