Allied Logistics, a logistics company based in Huntington, WV, announced that it has finalized the purchase of an additional warehouse facility in Vienna, WV. Allied Logistics is a value added logistics provider of warehouseing, transportation, commercial real estate and chemical toll services. Allied manages over 3,000,000 square feet of warehousing/distribution space serving a diverse group of clients. The recently purchased property has 385,000 square feet of warehouse space and is located at 3180 Rosemar Road. Allied Logistics also acquired the existing business in the facility and has retained the current employees. Plans are underway to expand both the customer and employment in the near future. Allied has been a member of Polymer Alliance Zone, Inc®, Inc. for several years, and is working with the Wood County Development Authority and other local economic officials in its expansion efforts.
